Photo Montages

 

Do you have a special occasion coming up such as:
  • a birthday?
  • an anniversary?
  • Mother’s Day?
  • Christmas?
  • a graduation?

Do you have boxes or albums of precious photographs or old film that bring back wonderful memories?  Why not preserve and share these memories by transferring them to DVD?

Photo Montage:

A smooth progression of photographs put onto DVD.  Each photograph is viewed for 5 to 10 seconds with a transition between images. 

Popular themes for photo montages:

  • Family photos of children growing older, for one’s birthday

  • Prints of the family pet

  • A collection of photos of parents, for reminiscing at a fiftieth wedding anniversary

  • Photos of a bride and groom beginning with babyhood and ending with “together” shots

Each montage begins with a title sequence, then progresses into the series of photos.  Audio of your choice may be added to the montage.  You are welcome to provide music, select music from our library of thousands of songs or add your own recorded descriptions for the background audio. 

 

A video prepared from 50 photos lasts approximately 8 minutes, and 200 photos lasts approximately 35 minutes, excluding the title sequence.

 

You will receive one edited copy of the DVD.  The master remains the property of Video Memories.

 

Pricing

   Convert VHS to DVD (no editing) $10/hr/VHS tape
   Editing* $25 per 1/2-hour (*1 hour minimum)

 

Photo Montage

   Initial setup fee $20
   Photos or slides $1.25 each
   Moving photos/slides $1.75 each
   Caption (1-10 words each caption) $1/caption

 

Additional Options

Insert one home video clip $15/clip
Audio background
   Dubbed instrumental music (up to 1 hour labor) Free
   Voice over (recording and adding to video)* $25 per 1/2-hour labor (*1 hour minimum)

 

Please number photos/slides on the back with a non-smearing pen/marker.

Additional copies of your VHS tape or DVD are available at $10.00 per hour.

An extra fee will be charged if client requests VHS tape(s) instead of DVD(s).

All video photos/slides are digitized to assure the greatest lasting quality and image retention possible.
